Hi, Matthew. Your poem is the first thing I read tonight in my exploration of Poetry Northwest - I like it! The stream of consciousness approach you used was very refreshing.

Hey Matthew, I too found my way here from Robert Fanning on FB. I'm always thrilled to read an Olzmann poem - definately a fan. I love the "stream of consciousness" in this poem - puts me in the mind of Bob Hicok and has the intelligence of Tony Hoaland, but is purely Olzmann in its soul. Well done.

Hello, Mathew. I'd like to read your other poems, cause i really like this one. while reading, I was able to see the whole picture in front of my eyes. it doesn't happen too often when i read poetry in English. By the way, i'm from Ukraine, if it means anything to you. I wish you a big success in your creative work!

Nice! And amusing. I particularly like 'the way continents are bad at crossing the ocean'.

I wrote a few poems in just this way a few years ago and they were some of my favourite work. You've reminded me to do it again.
