A Dragonfly on the Fishing Pole

A dragonfly perched on the fishing pole above water
fishing pole motionless
bait motionless
the dragonfly motionless
If I maintain this
motionless pose
a whole morning is about to pass by
The fishing pole above water does not seem
to need to be reeled in
If I can maintain this pose till
my mother calls me to go back home for lunch
then I can maintain it till
my old years: Here, I am sitting
eyes cast towards the deep recess of misty time
and waiting patiently for a cleansed mind—
At the end lies a calm and tranquil morning

钓竿上的蜻蜓

蜻蜓喜欢栖落在伸向水面的钓竿上
一动不动的钓竿
一动不动的浮漂
一动不动的蜻蜓
如果我也是这样保持着
一动不动的动作
一个上午眼看着就要过去了
伸向水面的钓竿眼看着
再也没有拉回来的必要
如果我能够将这个动作保持到
母亲来唤我回家吃饭的时候
我就能将这个动作保持到
晚年: 我在这里, 坐着
目光投向空蒙的时光深处
耐心地等候意念澄清之时———
尽头是那个风平浪静的上午
