Aquell tou vaivé

Greta Sibling (1995) won the 60th Amadeu Oller Poetry Award (one of Catalunya’s most prestigious prizes) by an unprecedented unanimous decision of the seven-member jury for her debut Ecografia (2024). Barcelona’s Santa Mònica Arts Center described her as “one of the most interesting new voices.” Her new stage project with musician Xevi GaTa, an experimental polyphonic weaving between his harmonic singing and her spoken word, premiered at the renowned Poesia i + festival in 2025.
Marialena Carr began translating Catalan poetry in 2021 after half a lifetime as a research oceanographer. She was selected for the Institut Ramón Llull’s translator program to advance heritage Catalan authors for her translation of poet Felicia Fuster. In 2024 she participated in the Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference and the ALTA Emerging Translator Program. Recent translations appear in The Common and Modern Poetry in Translation.
